About the Firm

A law firm built for rights, reform, and the public good.

Mafrick & Company Advocates is dual in design: a Kenyan legal practice serving private clients, businesses, and institutions, and a registered NGO arm partnering with civic actors to expand access to justice across the country.

From our base in Nairobi, our advocates appear before the Magistrates’ Courts, the Employment & Labour Relations Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the tribunals that shape commercial life in Kenya. We combine rigorous black-letter practice with a long-standing commitment to public-interest work — from constitutional petitions to county-level civic engagement programmes.

Through our cooperation with allied non-governmental organisations, we deliver pro bono representation, paralegal training, and policy advocacy. Our civic-education mandate equips ordinary Kenyans — youth, women, and marginalised communities — to understand the Constitution of Kenya 2010, assert their rights, and hold institutions to account.
